My client is a multinational organisation with operational bases spread across the globe. They are a worldwide provider of knowledge-based mapping and GIS products and services at the enterprise level. They are well equipped to provide knowledge-based software and services to customers around the world. By judiciously combining resources from their worldwide facilities, they are able to meet customer needs cost-effectively. They are among the top Geospatial conversion service vendors worldwide and are fast emerging as an end-to-end provider of e-business solutions and services.

 

This is a new position and a strategic move on the part of this company to provide their multifaceted GIS product and service offering to major accounts throughout Australia, including Governments, Local Authorities and Engineering firms. The Sales Executive will have a tremendous opportunity to establish and grow the customer base in the Australian market place by creating, developing and closing new business opportunities within the established territory. You will develop new client relationships with CXO level executives where you will sell complex, enterprise solutions by managing the complete process including negotiating and executing required contracts.  You will be working resourcefully in an independent environment where you will leverage business partner sales teams, consult with organizations nationally to explore and capture business opportunities, and most importantly work independently towards strategic individual and company objectives.

 

This candidate must have an established track record of success in enterprise systems sales over a significant period of time with impeccable professional references and reputation. You will ideally transfer your existing skills into this role, where you can hit the ground running. Having a solid understanding of GIS technology will be a huge advantage.

 

The position will have a significant base compensation of circa $90K, plus super, an excellent incentive component, and full benefits. The incentive component will not be capped and you will be compensated for recurring revenue. The selected candidate will be able to leverage the company’s global delivery capability in regards to your professional development.
